ACR Mowers is at 432 Cudgen Road, Cudgen, a few minutes south of the border. A steady share of our repair work comes from the Gold Coast, much of it from mowing contractors and gardening businesses who cannot afford a machine sitting idle.
Our pick-up and delivery run reaches about 20km from Cudgen, which takes in Coolangatta and Tugun. If you are further north — Currumbin, Palm Beach, Burleigh — you are very welcome to drop the machine in, and plenty of customers make that trip deliberately.

A lot of our Gold Coast push mower work comes from small mowing rounds where the machine has to be back on the trailer tomorrow. Oil, filter, plug, carburettor clean, blades and a run-up under load, with a realistic time given when you book.

Inside Coolangatta and Tugun we can collect. From Currumbin, Palm Beach, Elanora and Burleigh it is a drop-in, and it is a short run down the highway. Either way we assess the machine, work out what it needs and call you with a price before anything is done. Quotes are free.
For contractors we will also tell you honestly whether a machine is worth repairing or whether you are better off replacing it, because a machine off the road costs you more than the repair does. Bring it as it is, and bring any warranty paperwork — we lodge the claim for you.
Commercial machines fail from hours, not from neglect. Belts and spindle bearings are the most common replacement, followed by deck damage from kerbs and tree roots. Hydrostatic transmissions that have never had an oil change are the expensive one — they give plenty of warning as sluggish drive and heat, and almost nobody acts on it. On domestic machines out of the Currumbin and Tallebudgera hinterland, a blocked air filter after a dusty summer is the usual reason for lost power.
