ACR Mowers services and repairs mowers and outdoor power equipment for Tweed Heads from our workshop at 432 Cudgen Road, Cudgen, about fifteen minutes away. Adam does the work himself, so the person who diagnoses your machine is the person who repairs it.
Tweed Heads sits inside our pick-up and delivery run, which covers roughly 20km from Cudgen — Banora Point, Terranora, Tweed Heads South and the surrounding area included. If you cannot fit a mower in the car, we will collect it and bring it back.
We service every brand that comes in, including Stihl, Honda, Husqvarna and Victa machines we did not sell, and we are a Gold-Certified Stihl technician and Honda transmission specialist. Genuine parts, and warranty claims handled on your behalf.
Most Tweed Heads machines are domestic push and self-propelled mowers on suburban blocks, and that is the bulk of what comes through the door. Oil, filter, plug, carburettor clean, sharpened or replaced blades, then a run-up under load before it goes back to you.

The bigger machines here come off the acreage behind Banora Point and Terranora. Deck levelling, spindle and belt replacement, hydrostatic transmission diagnosis and full engine work. These take longer than a push mower, and we will tell you how long when you book it in.

Salt air and fine sand shorten the life of a carburettor and an air filter faster here than they do inland. Line trimmers, brush cutters, blowers and edgers get carburettor rebuilds, fuel system cleaning and ignition work.

We will tell you what a repair will cost before we do it, and we will tell you when a machine is not worth repairing. Turnaround depends on the machine and on parts availability — handheld gear is usually quick, ride-on and zero turn work takes longer — and you will get a realistic estimate when you book in.

Drop the machine in at 432 Cudgen Road, or book a pick-up — Tweed Heads sits well inside our run, so we will come and collect it. We assess it, work out what it needs and call you with a price before any work starts. Quotes are free and there is no obligation to proceed.
Bring it as it is — you do not need to clean it or drain the fuel. If it is under warranty, bring whatever paperwork you have and we will lodge the claim with the manufacturer for you.
Suburban mowers here only work half the year, so the single most common job is stale fuel and a gummed carburettor after a quiet winter. Coastal blocks add corrosion — seized cables, rusted deck bolts and perished fuel lines turn up far more often than they should. Kikuyu and buffalo are heavy going and blunt blades quickly, which shows up as a torn, ragged cut rather than a clean one. On the ride-ons behind Terranora it is usually belt and spindle wear.
We are an authorised dealer for Masport, Briggs & Stratton, Victa, Atom, Worldlawn, Maxwatt and AS-Motor, so those come with genuine parts and the warranty handled here rather than handed back to you. We also repair machines we did not sell — Stihl, Honda, Husqvarna, Cox and Cub Cadet all come through regularly. Adam is a Gold-Certified Stihl technician and a Honda transmission specialist.
