ACR Mowers wants customers to purchase with confidence. This policy explains how cancellations, returns, repairs, replacements and refunds are handled.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.

Cancelling an Order

If you wish to cancel an order before collection or delivery, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where an order has not yet been specially ordered, assembled, prepared, registered, freighted or otherwise committed specifically for you, we will generally be able to cancel the order and issue a refund.

Where ACR Mowers has already incurred reasonable and non recoverable costs in preparing or sourcing an order at your request, we may deduct those costs from a cancellation refund where permitted by law. We will discuss this with you before processing the cancellation.

Special order products may not be eligible for cancellation due simply to a change of mind once the product has been ordered from our supplier.

These cancellation conditions do not affect your rights where a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law.

Change of Mind

ACR Mowers is not required to provide a refund or exchange where you simply change your mind, choose the wrong product, find the product cheaper elsewhere or decide you no longer require it.

We may agree to a change of mind return at our discretion. Any such return must be approved by ACR Mowers before the product is returned and may be subject to the condition of the product and any reasonable costs already incurred.

Faulty or Defective Products

Products sold by ACR Mowers come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Depending on the circumstances, if a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy.

For a major failure, you may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement.

For a minor failure, ACR Mowers may choose to repair the product within a reasonable period. If the problem cannot be repaired within a reasonable period, further remedies may become available under the Australian Consumer Law.

ACR Mowers may inspect or assess a product before determining the appropriate remedy.

Returning a Faulty Product

Please contact us before returning equipment so we can discuss the problem and the most appropriate way to have it assessed.

For products that can reasonably be returned to our Cudgen workshop, customers may be asked to return the product for inspection.

For large, heavy or difficult to transport equipment where the Australian Consumer Law requires the supplier to arrange or cover transport, please contact us before arranging transport yourself.

If a product is confirmed to have a problem covered by the Australian Consumer Law, reasonable return or transport costs paid by the customer may also be recoverable.

Proof of purchase may be requested. Original packaging is not required when exercising rights relating to a faulty product.

Manufacturer Warranties

Many products sold by ACR Mowers also include a manufacturer’s warranty.

Manufacturer warranties are provided in addition to, and do not replace, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

As an authorised dealer for a range of outdoor power equipment brands, ACR Mowers can assist with warranty assessment and manufacturer warranty claims where applicable.

Used and Sale Products

Consumer guarantees may also apply to used, discounted and sale products.

The age, condition, price and any defects disclosed before purchase may be relevant when determining what a customer can reasonably expect from a used product.

A product is not considered faulty merely because of a defect or condition that was clearly disclosed to the customer before purchase.
