The AS-Motor AS 940 Sherpa 4WD is a professional high grass ride on mower designed for slopes, rough ground and dense vegetation. Permanent four wheel drive improves traction climbing and gives stronger control descending, while the low centre of gravity and compact Sherpa chassis keep the machine stable and manageable.
Its 724cc Briggs & Stratton Professional Series V Twin produces 22.4hp rated output with up to 27hp maximum power. A continuously variable hydrostatic transmission provides precise speed control up to 6.2km/h forward and 6.0km/h in reverse, with a rear differential lock available when extra traction is needed.
The 90cm closed surfing deck uses AS-Motor's cross blade system to cut and mulch growth up to approximately 150cm. Cutting height adjusts through five positions from 50mm to 105mm, and the deck can move upwards over uneven ground to reduce the chance of blade or turf damage.
