The AS-Motor AS 920 Sherpa 2WD is built for large areas where speed, manoeuvrability and strong high grass performance matter more than four wheel drive. Its 90cm closed surfing mower deck and AS cross blade system handle dense growth while placing the cut material centrally behind the deck for reliable traction.
Power comes from a 724cc Briggs & Stratton Professional Series V Twin engine rated at 22.4hp with up to 27hp maximum output. Hydrostatic rear wheel drive gives smooth speed control up to 10.5km/h forward and 8.2km/h in reverse, while the selectable differential lock adds traction when conditions become slippery or uneven.
The mower deck adjusts through five cutting heights from 50mm to 105mm and can move upwards over uneven ground to help protect the blades and turf. A tight 0.6m turning radius, low centre of gravity, adjustable seating and a strong tubular frame make the AS 920 well suited to acreage, orchards and professional property maintenance.
