The AS-Motor AS 800 FreeRider is a compact high grass ride on mower for acreage, orchards and uneven private or commercial properties. Its low centre of gravity, rear wheel drive and switchable limited slip differential give useful traction without the size or cost of a full 4WD platform.
The 344cc Briggs & Stratton Series 3 Intek engine produces 10.3hp rated power and up to 13hp maximum output. A variable hydrostatic transmission provides smooth travel up to 8km/h forward and 6km/h in reverse, while a foot operated differential lock helps both rear wheels maintain drive when conditions become slippery.
An 80cm closed deck with the AS cross blade system cuts and mulches growth up to approximately 80cm. Cutting height adjusts through four positions from 35mm to 85mm, and the deck is flexibly mounted to follow uneven ground. The tubular frame, bumper and adjustable bucket seat make it a practical step into professional high grass mowing.
